The global economy has faced a very relevant economic shock in 2026. The conflict in the Middle East between Iran and the United States and Israel has produced a marked clash in raw materials markets that has triggered increases in the prices of oil and agricultural inputs, with repercussions throughout the planet. This scenario has played an important role in Latin America, with a significant rebound in inflation so far in 2026.
