Berta Argenté knows like few others the potential of the financial sector to improve the lives of the most vulnerable. After graduating in Business Administration in 2025, the Barcelona native spent five years between India and Colombia, where she supervised the investments of the Nobel Peace Prize manager Muhammad Yunus, focused on supporting profitable businesses with social impact in developing countries. The pandemic interrupted his dream job and forced him to return to Barcelona, but it also made him realize the need to improve his own city. “I felt that I could generate a greater impact if I worked close to home,” explains the entrepreneur, at 33 years old, in a telephone interview.
