Juan del Río, CEO of the VIVAGYM GYPENIES Group, was born in Granada 60 years ago, but is considered from San Pedro de Alcántara (Marbella). What is the best and the worst of being a high manager? The best thing has been to fulfill the ambition he had to grow, to have more responsibility and stimuli to be able to work in different cultures and sectors. My life has been pure learning. The price you pay is the time you stop dedicating to the personal part, sacrificing my personal and family relationships. One does not have time for everything and nothing is free. P. has lived in seven countries. Which one has felt more comfortable? A. I liked all, but in my heart Colombia occupies a very special space. And Korea's exotism makes me happy to have been three and a half years there. Q. What kitchen does it stay with? A. I am lucky to have worked in Italy and Spain, which gastronomically are two monsters. The Korean is also very good kitchen, although I consider it a closer tad than the Mediterranean. But the Korean classics, the Bibimbap, Bulgogi, the Shabu Shabu … are wonderful. Q. What do you like to do in your free time? A. I love golf, skiing, fishing at sea, reading, paddle, traveling, gastronomy, cooking … Q. Does it go to the gym? A. Yes, several times a week. Q. I get up between five and a half and six in the morning.
