On the side of the A-2 highway, in the outskirts of Madrid, warehouses for online sales are built that immediately arrive at the consumer’s door. It is the golden mile of transport, near the Barajas airport, but this lucrative boom hides a B side of illegal truck parking that has proliferated on protected agricultural land, five kilometers to the south, in a natural area a few meters from the Henares River.
