David Beckham is already a billionaire, and the first British athlete to achieve that fortune

Like every year for 38 editions, The Sunday Times has published the list of the 350 richest people and families in the United Kingdom. Between them all, they share a combined wealth of 784 billion pounds, which, according to the British media, represents an increase of 1.4% compared to 2025 and a sum equivalent to a quarter of the British GDP. Businessmen, politicians, singers, athletes… and new faces who are making their debut in the classification for the first time. David and Victoria Beckham appear for the first time as billionaires, thus confirming their good business moment. The former footballer also becomes the first British athlete to reach that figure, although the fortune he has achieved comes thanks to his businesses both on and off the field of play.
