Adriana Domínguez, president of Adolfo Domínguez, is trained in resistance. He studied in the best national and international centers, speaks five languages, lives between two cities, and changed his actress career for a jump of obstacles in the Galician fashion group. What memories do you have when I was little? Answer. That of grandparents' tailoring. My cousins and my sister played in the basement, at the corner of Havana Avenue in Ourense. I was going to pick up the boy from the errands, so I was integrated as one more message (laughs) .p. How was that childhood? R. I changed a lot of schools. In Ourense I was in the Franciscanas and Concepción Arenal, and since the age of eight, internal abroad. Every two years I changed center, for me it is a very beautiful memory. Well, internship sounds through trauma. No, at all. It was rather Harry Potter roll, I loved it. They say your father was very demanding with you and your sisters. In summer it put us to do three things: drawing, piano and swimming. We did it and he later supervised. He told us that, as he had three daughters, we were not going to do the mili. And it was sorry, because he believed that there were certain teachings that we were going to miss. I understand that they set up a real training. He built a platform at five meters high on the farm from which ropes and sticks hung. It made us go up and down. He said: «If there is a war and you have to pull a rope from a helicopter, you can not say that you do not know.» Did you like your career? R. I did business in ICADE (Pontifical University of Comillas), and in France (CESEM) although I would have preferred to study humanities. I had a designer father who told me that he had no way out … the world has changed a lot. Many races that seemed before that had no way out, now they have it: design and pattern, for example. The Jesuits, in the race, included ethics and values content. Over the years I have realized how important it is to have a vision of construction of the society in which you are, in the medium and long term. For the business world ethics is very important. And the interpretation came. I wanted to study cinema, as I had studied business I thought that a logical sequel would be to dedicate myself to production. But along the way I diverted (laughs). I was going to make a master's degree in New York, I stayed first on the waiting list and while I waited I started studying loose postgraduate subjects. I discovered the interpretation [estudió en el selecto The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute de Nueva York]. I threw myself and it went well, I was 22 years old. I made five movies. He shared cast with Geraldine Chaplin and Robert De Niro. What happened to the head to want to return to the company? R. I did not follow because I liked the trade a lot, but not the profession. From the United States to Spain. How was the return home? R. He had a small company that collaborated in the creation of brand and communication by Adolfo Domínguez. In the end this is also to tell a story, the story of a brand. But what did you change your mind? R. It is not so much what happened to me as what happened to the company. It was at a complicated moment, a little on the edge of the abyss. Those who want her well decided to do something about it, I was not the only one: shareholders, workers, counselors .. They said we are going to reorder the pieces so that this goes ahead. Did the last names help or hindered him? R. My family is quite excited. My grandparents were well known in Ourense. When I came to take care of the company they stopped me down the street and asked me if I was one of those beacon girls (that's the name of the tailoring). My grandparents were very special people, I have some cousins who have set up Bimba and Lola, some uncles who have set up Textile Lonia Society (develops the Purification Marcas García and Ch Carolina Herrera) … It seems to me that I have a very creative family, entrepreneur, and that does long for this province. What brands admire in addition to yours. I like brands like Ecoalf: how Javier Goyeneche started an idea of cleaning oceans and how he has tied everything, how he convinced fishermen to recycle … I also like The North Face, the Californian, the founder of that company wrote a book titled Leave my people surf. It has a company that hires people forofa del sport. How do you manage stress? R. I don't think much. Life is energy, I do not have an expectation of enormous peace of mind, it is not very stressed in constant motion. I have done meditation, yoga, but I have realized that I like a very Galician practice that is to go to the field and walk. It relaxes me a lot. I try to do it at the beginning or end of the day. I live between Ourense and Madrid and I have claimed to have a field in both places. I like the garden, I have animals, chickens, rabbits and a dog. I hope the dog is not a hunter. He is trained not to kill them (laughs), but he still has temptations. The world of having animals and orchard sits me. And on weekends? R. Do not fill myself with things, I let time flow.
