Supermicro has started the shipments of top-performance servers with Intel Xeon 6900 series processors with P cores, specially designed to be used with artificial intelligence (AI). «The new systems feature a range of new and enhanced technologies with new architectures optimized for the most demanding high-performance workloads, including Large-scale AI, cluster-scale HPC, and environments where maximum number of GPUs are requiredsuch as collaborative design and media distribution,» explains the firm.
