The text “stands out for the breadth of its approach and the solidity of the multiple references it incorporates, offering a global and well-founded vision of a field in constant evolution,” the organization values in its statement. In addition to x-raying the current situation of the real estate market, the jury has recognized that the approach of the report, despite being included within the special on housing, published by EL PAÍS in 2024, “remains fully valid and continues to arouse interest thanks to the clarity of its arguments and the quality of its narrative.” With all this, he has also celebrated «his ability to explain with rigor, but also with accessibility, the keys to the real estate market that allow both professionals in the sector and the general public to understand the complexity of the matter.» López Letón, a graduate in Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid, is an editor specializing in the real estate sector at EL PAÍS, where she has reported for more than two decades. Currently, he writes for the economic information supplement ‘Negocios’. Along with recognition for their work, the Vía Ágora award is endowed with 3,000 euros. The Vía Ágora Journalism Awards, a company specialized in the management and development of real estate assets, are divided into 3 categories: Residential real estate, disruptive technologies and sustainability in rural Spain.
