Last Tuesday, September 7, 2021, the “Ley Bitcoin” went into effect – in El Salvador.
This law made El Salvador the first country in the world to adopt the BTC as its official currency. With this, the population can now use the main cryptoactive on the market in their day-to-day. Naturally, because it is something so new, there are several controversies about this adoption.
