The cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced on Friday, April 3, that from now on, Brazilian users will be able to buy crypto-cryptos on the platform with their MasterCard banner cards. The announcement came about a week after the exchange announced the option to purchase with Visa cards, as reported by CriptoFácil.
Using the debit or credit option, platform users will be able to purchase in addition to Bitcoin, ETH, BNB (native token from Binance), XRP, BUSD and USDT with the two main flags of the Brazilian market. Purchased assets are deposited directly into the user's Binance Wallet.
At the time of the announcement of the payment option with Visa, many users of the platform asked Binance to add the payment option with MasterCard and Elo. The platform explained that it was working on this, but that the service would also depend on the financial services companies themselves. It looks like MasterCard responded quickly.
Bonuses for first 500
The platform also announced that the first new users of the new option will receive a kind of prize in digital assets. To do this, customers need to add their MasterCard card to the platform and purchase more than $ 20 (about R $ 100) in cryptocurrencies. The first 500 users to do this will earn 10 BUSD (about R $ 53 at the time of this writing).
"The promotion starts at 15:00 (Brasília time), this Friday, April 3, 2020", announced Binance.
To participate in this promotion, the customer must access the “Buy crypto” page and select the option “Pay with card” (Bank Card). However, Binance notes that the promotion is only available to new users of the "Pay with credit / debit card" option. In addition, customers must have previously performed identity verification and facial identification to be eligible.
