Brazilian startup Wallbee recently announced that the launch of its social network will take place in the coming weeks, allowing creators and collectors of NFTs the ability to showcase their digital assets through a more user-friendly interface.

According to Thiago Bastos, CEO and founder of the project, Wallbee plans to facilitate the usability of NFTs through a platform similar to Instagram, however, he stressed that the project plans to scale different Web3 solutions over time.

Currently people who wish to participate in this experience can register on the site to be selected to try the trial version.

Users selected for the test phase will be able to receive an NFT collection in the future and a “verified badge” that will point that user as one of the first to arrive on the social network.

How does Wallbee work?

In an exclusive provided to Criptofácil, Thiago Bastos informed that Wallbee’s idea is to allow users to display on their profiles all the NFTs they have in the different digital wallets.

In addition, Bastos stated that he plans to implement the governance of the platform through a token to finance the project, granting a greater level of centralization and an accelerated growth of the platform.

However, no major details were provided about the name or release date for this token.

Partnerships in Brazil

WallBee already has different partnerships in Brazil that aim to boost the platform’s growth, including Enivo, Tchê Ruggi, CarameloClub and CalangoDoido.

In fact, Bastos informed that they are looking for new partners that allow a greater integration of NFTs in the platform and allow a conversion of users through the different Web3 communities.

WallBee seems to have a long-term view on the NFTs market, yet they should constantly study the movements of big brands such as Twitter and Instagram itself, which have shown great interest in this niche in recent months.
