After getting involved in several companies accused of scamming the cryptocurrency market, among them, Ronaldinho 18k, one of the greatest football players in history, Ronaldinho Gaúcho, is again in the crypto market.
The former player of the Brazilian National Team, Barcelona, Grêmio, Flamengo and Atlético Mineiro announced that he will sell his own collection of NFTs.
As revealed by the ace on Twitter, his NFTs will be minted and marketed by the Shirtum platform and will be called “Dinhos”.
It is worth noting that, like his previous moves in the cryptocurrency market, Ronaldinho’s NFTs are preceded by an extensive marketing campaign.
In total, there will be 10,010 Dinhos, which will honor iconic moments in Ronaldinho’s life and career.
NFTs are Profile Picture (PFP) type avatars. Therefore, they can be added on platforms like Twitter and Instagram as a profile picture.
Additionally, NFTs will allow their holders to unlock unique utilities in the metaverse.
“Owning the Ronaldinho NFT you will have access to unique experiences and exclusive utilities such as chatting with Ronaldinho on Discord, participating in an AMA with Ronaldinho, exclusive airdrops, the opportunity to meet Ronaldinho in person, among others,” explains the publication.
Ronaldinho
Before Dinhos, Ronaldinho became a global ambassador for New World Inc., which is also active in the NFT business.
Just last year, Ronaldinho Gaúcho announced the launch of a collection of NFTs called “Ronaldinho’s Sports Series”.
However, when it comes to cryptocurrencies, the football star’s trajectory is marked by “balls out”. After all, the scorer got involved with several controversial companies, such as Ronaldinho 18k, LBLV, among others.
In addition, Ronaldinho was arrested in Paraguay last year for carrying a false passport. He was also accused of having links with one of the biggest gangs in the country.
