Naturgy will invest more than 300 million euros until 2030 in the expansion and modernization of its gas network in strategic municipalities of Nuevo León (Mexico) to expand and modernize its energy infrastructure. Nuevo León has established itself as the state with the most robust natural gas distribution infrastructure in Mexico, with more than 11,000 kilometers of installed network —equivalent to one sixth of the national infrastructure— in addition to a system made up of seven City Gates and 11 Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) stations. All of this infrastructure serves the business fabric of Nuevo León, one of the most industrialized states in Mexico. Naturgy has been present in the country for almost 30 years. Only in Nuevo León currently serves more than a million userswhich makes it one of the key actors in state energy development. «Mexico is experiencing a decisive moment for strengthen its industrial and energy competitiveness.
