Macron took the witness in the dialogue this Friday, and after meeting with the leaders of the French formations he decided to turn, again, to Lecornu. The new prime minister he accepted the position through a message on his ‘X’ profilein which the mission has been set to «put an end to this political crisis that exasperates the French people and this instability that damages the image of France and its interests.» «I accept, out of obligation, the mission entrusted to me by the President of the Republic to do everything possible to provide France with a budget before the end of the year and address the daily problems of our compatriots», he highlighted. To achieve his objective, Lecornu sees it necessary «learn» from the situation experienced in recent months and promote dialogue to reach agreements with the French political spectrum. «The consolidation of our public finances remains a priority for our future and our sovereignty: no one will be able to avoid this need. All ambitions are legitimate and useful, but those who join the Government must commit to disassociate themselves from presidential ambitions by 2027.
