Ferrovial earns 6,911 million in September (+6.2%) driven by toll roads

Ferrovial has reported income for the first nine months of the year of 6,911 million euroswhich represents an increase of 6.2% compared to the figures for the same period last year, according to the information sent to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). The company assures that this improvement in sales is produced «fundamentally by the increase in income from toll roads (+14.4% comparable) and construction (+4.6%)».
For its part, The adjusted gross operating result (EBITDA) amounted to 1,031 million euros (+4.8% comparable), thanks also to the performance of toll roads (+14.7% comparable), particularly the US ones with an adjusted EBITDA of 730 million euros (+11.8%). Construction recorded an adjusted margin of 3.7%. «The Highway division revenues increased 14.4% year-on-year in comparable termsup to 1,021 million euros, thanks to a notable performance in North America, where the company received 312 million euros in dividends,» explains Ferrovial. In addition, it highlights that Express lanes in the United States experienced «strong revenue growth» per transaction, well above inflation.» «In Canada407 ETR achieved excellent results between January and September, with double-digit EBITDA growthdespite the payments planned by the so-called Schedule 22 in 2025. The Highway Council 407 ETR recently announced an additional dividend of 1.05 billion Canadian dollars to be paid in the fourth quarter of the year. Thus, the total approved dividend amounts to 1,500 million Canadian dollars,» he adds. The order book of the Construction division reached 17,168 million euros, remaining close to historical highs, and achieving an EBIT margin of 3.7%. North America represented 47%, Poland 22% and Spain 15% of the total order book.
