As part of this collaboration, eDO incorporates Visa’s Trusted Agent Protocol and Agent Directory to recognize and securely manage interactions with verified AI agents. Thanks to these capabilities, eDreams can distinguish between trusted AI agents and unknown or unverified trafficas well as defining how they can access your website and complete transactions, all within your current risk management and control systems. This integration now allows the company to manage real transactions in its own environment, and Your clients’ banks authorize payments securely using payment keys Visa, helping to ensure that each transaction is correctly verified and reliable. In this way, general AI platforms are able to go beyond assistance in searching for travel options to, on behalf of consumers, directly complete purchases from any of the eDreams travel brands (eDreams, Opodo, GO Voyages and Travellink), within defined rules and controls.
