The team behind Binance confirmed that its Alpha platform will incorporate the Midnight (NIGHT) network token on December 9. Binance Alpha is an educational and discovery feature built into Binance Wallet (Binance’s non-custodial Web3 wallet). Its main goal is to highlight early-stage cryptocurrency projects. Additionally, the exchange will enable an airdrop for eligible users through Alpha Points, available when trading of the asset begins. Listing a token on Binance usually imply immediate access to liquidityvisibility in global markets and reaching new investors. In this context, NIGHT could attract capital and generate a strong speculative movement in the first hours. NIGHT will also be listed by other exchanges, such as Bybit, MEXC, OKX and Bitpanda.
What is NIGHT token?
The NIGHT cryptocurrency is the Midnight utility tokena Cardano-linked sidenet that aims to offer privacy features for transactions and applications under zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs. As reported by BitcoinDynamic, the entire supply of NIGHT (24,000 million units) was issued directly on the Cardano mainnet. According to the Midnight team, these tokens will be distributed through a program called «Glacier Drop», aimed at holders of various digital assets such as bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH) and Cardano’s own ADA.
