Argentine vice president asks Bukele for advice on Bitcoin and volcano bonds

«We are talking about Bitcoin (BTC), which is an issue in which El Salvador is being a pioneer,» said Victoria Villarruel, vice president of Argentina and president of the nation's Senate, today after receiving the Salvadoran president, Nayib Bukele. The Salvadoran president visited Congress, on his second day of an official visit to Argentina, when Villarruel welcomed Bukele on the esplanade of the building. In May, representatives of the Argentine National Securities Commission (CNV) and the Salvadoran CNAD held a meeting to exchange experiences regarding the regulation and adoption of BTC, as reported by BitcoinDynamic. “We want to strengthen ties with the Republic of El Salvador and therefore, we are going to explore the possibility of signing collaboration agreements with them,” said Roberto Silva, president and vice president of the Argentine CNV, at that time.
