Environmental care is one of the great concerns in Europe. According to a newly published Eurobarometer survey, 85% of citizens believe that this is one of the most pressing problems today. Such is that eight out of 10 support the objective of climatic neutrality from here to 2050. In addition to this, more than three quarters of the Europeans agree that the cost of the damage of global warming is greater than the investment that is needed to make a transition to an economy of zero emissions. Based on this scenario, the impulse of solutions in all sectors has become a priority to preserve the planet. From energy management to the optimization of air conditioning systems, technology is erected as a useful tool for the reduction of carbon emissions. There is a collective effort to develop products that are efficient and that minimize the ecological impact. Some of the most pointer examples will be seen in the IFEMA Madrid Pavilions, from November 18 to 20, in three rooms —C & R (International Hall of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration), generates (International Energy and Environment synergies among the various participants. The three fairs will help companies profitable their investment and enhance, at the same time, the projection of their innovations, when they reach a much broader and more diverse professional audience. The appointment will accelerate the exchange of ideas among the attendees, according to Ifema Madrid. C&R, the International Hall of Air conditioning and cooling, will present a technical agenda focused on more efficient solutions, with new sections on regulation and control, and air conditioning of data centers to guarantee its sustainability. For its part, it will consolidate as a meeting point for the ecological transition, where they will highlight self -consumption, energy efficiency and new monographic spaces. Matelec will focus on digitalization and connectivity for the transition, with news in smart networks and the integration of renewable energy. These events promote research and development through their galleries and a complete technical day program. For example, in C&R there will be a monographic space on the BACS regulation and control systems (for its acronym in English of Building Automation and Control Systems) in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning facilities (HVAC, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). This space – promoted next to the Association of Manufacturers of Air Rooming Equipment (AFF) – will be a professional meeting point aimed at manufacturers, engineering, installers, consultants, buildings, distributors, administration technicians and end users, who can share experiences, know solutions and explore the latest market trends. In the C&R room, it will also have a new area on the air conditioning in the air conditioning in data centers Ashrae Spain Chapter, a non -profit international organization. In this space, issues such as the adoption of new technologies, sustainability and the growing impact of artificial intelligence and cloud on critical infrastructures will be addressed. There will also be a new edition of Gallery of Innovation, a space that serves to make visible the latest developments in air conditioning and cooling. The International Hall of Cell Mimatization and Refrigeration 2025 celebrates a moment of sector growth and transformation, thanks to the increase in the demand for more efficient and sustainable systems, as well as by technological evolution. In its latest edition, in 2023, it brought together more than 46,000 professionals and 398 direct exhibitors from 21 countries. The International Hall of Climatization and Refrigeration will coincide with the International Week of Electrification and Decarbonization, an event that encompasses the generates and Matelec fairs, which have brought together 43,000 and 24,000 visitors, respectively, in its latest calls. The event will be attended by the Institute for Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDAE) and part of the program will be dedicated to two key days: one on the electrical system, entitled What Electric Red do we need? Reflections of the agents of the sector, with the support of the Association of Electrical Material (AFME), and another dedicated to the electric vehicle, by the Business Association for the Development and Promotion of Electric Mobility (AEDIVE). In addition to these, forums and debate tables will be held such as electrical rehabilitation in the housing by AFM The Association of Renewable Energy Companies (APPA) on Renewable Energies, the Space The world of the Installer of the National Federation of Entrepreneurs of Spain (FENIE) and the Forum on Energy Savings Certificates carried out by the National Association of Energy Services Companies (ANESE) and the Association of Energy Efficiency Companies (A3E).

Renewable energies

On the one hand, generates is consolidated as a key meeting point for the sector. In this edition, according to IFEMA Madrid, the visibility of renewable energies, self -consumption, energy efficiency and storage solutions will be enhanced. The fair will have new monographic spaces dedicated to green hydrogen, intelligent networks and sustainable mobility, strategic areas for ecological transition. Another novelty is the Gallery of Innovation generates 2025, where disruptive projects and solutions will be highlighted in the field of energy and the environment. Separately, Matelec is already a reference appointment, with a special approach to technological innovation, electrification and efficiency. This year, the event consists of four major areas: Matelec, Matelec Industry, Matelec Lighting and Matelec Smart Mobility. Their days will focus on digitalization, connectivity and automation. The novelties of the Industry Solutions Fair will focus on the electricity grid, storage, electrification and integration of renewable energies in smart networks. As it generates, the Matelec 2025 innovation gallery will reward and give visibility to the most prominent advances in electrical solutions, lighting and mobility.
